No. You don’t have to go to the dealership for Audi service. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (enforced by the FTC) says your warranty can’t be denied just because an independent shop—or you—did the work, as long as repairs follow Audi procedures and parts/fluids meet Audi/VW approvals. (A specific facility can be required only if the repair is free under the warranty.) We document everything used for a clear service record.
